Tropical Storm Fay and Water, Water Everywhere

OK. We have WATER and more WATER! We started school on Monday and will be out for 3 days because of flooding! We had no idea that the back corner of our yard was low or that the entire back yard was low enough to flood! I took these pictures early (Curt) morning and then about 7p (Ella) because I didn't want to get my camera wet! Crazy!

d,
curt is lookin' sexky in his old navy trunks and his rubber boots;) i cannot believe the water didn't get into the pool; it's a really good thing that your backyard is lower away from the house!!!
ella is cracking me up... too funny:b
love,

You guys really do get some extreme weather! I hope the flooding doesn't get any worse and that it doesn't reach your house.
I also hope there is not to much damage done to your garden :)

We have experienced flooding here in the past ~ but thankfully not for a long time. Hope it all clears up for you soon XXXX

Hey! I never knew that Curt could make rubber boots looks so goooood! Mom & Dad only got an inch but they were worried about you when they heard that Fay decided to hang out over there with you. I knew you were in trouble when I saw that Stephanie Abrams from the Weather Channel was in Melbourne - that girl must have made Mother Nature angry because whereever she is - the worst of the storm is sure to follow!!! On a totally unrelated noted, whenever I check your blog, Kate makes me stay on it because she wants to listen to your song! It is a catchy tune!
Love you! Anonymous d

I have to agree......the boots and shorts are pretty sexy. Maybe curt could try some heels next time...they would elongate his leg and stride. Hee Hee I really wanted to say that heels make the butt look nice.....I guess I did anyway. Have fun and good luck getting all the water out.
