Camp for Sam!

I am posting late. Tried to post this one last week and had upload issues!!
Sam spent 6 days at our Methodist Church Camp in Leesburg, FL. He had a great time! We got there in time to see the closing Praise and Worship and it was great! The kids were singing and jumping around like they were at a rock concert! It really does your heart good to see such love for Jesus Christ in such young kids. I Love the songs as well! Such a camper at heart anyway!!

A Wedding in the family!!

This is my nephew, McKennon and his new bride, Anna!
We traveled to Durham, North Carolina for their wedding June 21, 2008. It was beautiful.
They were married in Duke Chapel on the campus of Duke University. Why it is called a chapel??...it was cathedral impressive.
The homily was the most beautiful and practical that I have ever heard at a wedding ceremony. McKennon will be working at Duke Chapel on the pastoral staff as he just graduated from Duke's Divinity School. He has a quite passion for God and a wife who loves the Lord and loves him. What more could you want for a solid marriage foundation?

Will took this photo of Curt and me in the Chapel. Of course, since I had the camera, I neglected to have someone take the Christmas Card photo of our family!! I couldn't believe it. No photos of our family together! However, my parents, brother and sister and I did manage to have someone take our photo with my camera.

It has been a busy wedding year for my sister and brother-in law. My niece was married only 8 months ago!
What will we do for a party now??!

Sam Turns 11!! Party this week!

Will turns 15!

wheww!!

Hi all!
I haven't blogged in a while and thought I'd better get to it! You see, i have had so much energy it has been hard to sit and focus! My Dr. started me on Prednisone--a type of steroid--because i had really begun to feel sore and rung out! Well...good heavens. Where has THAT drug been all my life??! Actually, it's not a good thing to be on due to other side effects, but for a short term it has REALLY made me feel better and I was SOOOOO ready for that! So, there ya go.
Onward and upward!! Thank you for your prayers. God is so good, people.
